"Accountable Cyprus Financial Literacy Project" continues to conduct short-term training sessions in various schools to enhance the financial literacy levels of young people, in addition to the adaptation of financial literacy lessons into the curriculum of pilot schools in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
Funded by North Cyprus Banks Association and implemented by KMC Consulting "Accountable Cyprus Financial Literacy Project" reached the students of Sedat Simavi Industrial Vocational High School. Over the course of three days, students engaged in comprehensive training sessions focusing on budgeting and money management.
Throughout the intensive program, spanning three days, participants delved into the intricacies of budget planning, personal finance management, and understanding financial risks. With an attendance of 27 eager students, the training sessions incorporated a variety of exercises aimed at enhancing financial awareness and fostering sustainable financial habits among the participants.
Culminating the enlightening training initiative was a prestigious certificate ceremony graced by the presence of Halil Okur, the Secretary General of the Banks Association, and Salih Sarpten, a distinguished member of the Ministry of Education's Curriculum and Instruction Board. During this ceremonial event,
Financial Literacy certificates were bestowed upon all 27 students, marking the culmination of their dedicated efforts and commitment to financial literacy.
